BHU Organizes Interactive Session for Library Staff to Foster Professional Development

• The Staff Development Cell, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) conducted an engaging Ice-Breaking, Interaction and Feedback session for its library staff, including Professional Assistants (PA), Semi-Professional Assistants (SPA) and Library Assistants on 11 Jan 2025.

• The session aimed to identify their needs and expectations regarding development programs, ensuring alignment with their professional growth and daily operational responsibilities.

• The interactive session was conducted by Prof. Sujit Kumar Dubey, Coordinator of the Staff Development Cell, along with members Mr. R.P. Mehrotra and Mr. Raj Kumar Soni, Assistant Registrar.

• Participants actively engaged in discussions covering key topics such as the clarity of work roles and expected outcomes, their perception of being adequately qualified for their positions, the frequency of communication with senior staff and the level of support received from co-workers. 

• The session witnessed enthusiastic participation, with staff expressing strong interest in attending development programs designed to enhance their professional skills and support their daily work. This initiative reflects BHU’s ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive and growth-oriented work environment for all its employees.
